\nHe tried to unify the gods of ancient Egypt, as there were many deities in it who were worshiped in its various regions, including the great god Amun Ra in the form of the one god Aten. Although there are doubts about the extent of his success in this, and the transfer of the capital from Thebes to his new capital, Akhetatun, in Minya, in which realistic art appeared, especially in sculpture and drawing, as in the tomb of Ra\u2019a Musa, and a new literature appeared characterized by songs of the new god Aten, or what is currently known as the Tell el-Amarna system.
\nAkhenaten was married to his wife, the main Queen Nefertiti, who shared his thoughts in the worship of Aten, appeared with him in religious ceremonies and accompanied him in all his scenes. His mother, Queen T, introduced her son to a second wife, Kiya. Which is most likely the mother of Tutankhamun. Under these pressures and due to his young age, he changed his name from “Tutankhamun” to Tutankhamun. The priests of Thebes demolished the monuments of Akhenaten and his city Akhetaten, erased his name from them, dismantled the temple that Laton had built in Thebes, and the people abandoned his capital.
